WOMEN'S MINIMALIST TRAINING SHOES

Women’s Minimalist Training Shoes. Minimalist training shoes are designed to give you the feeling of being barefoot while you workout.  They are lightweight and less bulky than a typical sneaker, which is quite helpful during a handstand workout when you’re upside down trying to maintain focus and balance.  There will be less of a chance for them to hit each other and less weight on your feet to control.

Foot anatomy will come into play when you’re deciding whether or not to switch to minimalist shoes.  For some, it might take some time getting used to wearing them since they have less heel cushioning & arch support than regular training shoes. However, this meant to help your feet (tendons, ligaments, muscles, etc.) get stronger since they now have less outside support to rely on.

If you happen to buy a pair, it’s a good idea to get used to wearing them before you start using them in your actual training. You can do this by simply walking around in them. If in doubt, talk to a local sports medicine professional who can help you design a custom program based off your individual foot anatomy.
