MEN'S CROSS TRAINING WORKOUT SHOES

Men’s Cross Training Workout Shoes.  Cross trainers were not created specifically for any one sport or fitness program. Instead, their unique athletic design allows you the option to wear them in various sports & training activities.

Cross trainers usually have less cushioning than typical running shoes and as a result, provide your feet with more lateral support. This is beneficial when you’re performing an activity that requires multi-directional movements such as shuffling to the left or the right, when you back pedal, jump, and so on.

  • For example, if you try to wear running shoes when performing plyometric exercises instead of cross trainers, it may lead to injury since the extra cushioning might hinder you from being able to land properly.
  • The running shoes would have too much give in their structure.

Cross trainers will be slightly heavier than running shoes and minimalist shoes because they’re generally made out of thicker, sturdier materials which add to their structure and support. This can be helpful when you’re doing home workouts, lifting weights at the gym, performing high-intensity interval training such as calisthenics, Crossfit, or group classes and need a more versatile, durable shoe to handle the different exercise conditions.
