WOMEN'S RUNNING WORKOUT SHOES

Women’s Running Workout Shoes. Running shoes are designed to improve comfort levels, enhance running performance, and reduce your risk of running-related injuries. They have more cushioning and flexibility than your standard cross trainers or minimalist inspired shoes. Plus, they’re usually designed with reflective materials to enhance visibility and lightweight materials for breatheability.

Within the category of Running Shoes, there are 3 different types of shoes available such as motion control, stability, and cushioned running shoes. Wear this type of shoe if you feet are like this:

  • Flat Feet (low arch) – Motion Control Shoes
  • Normal Feet (medium arch) – Stability Shoes
  • High Arch – Cushioned Shoes

These shoes can be worn whenever you go running, while handstand training or performing calisthenics (body weight workouts), or low impact weight training workouts.

For example, it would be okay to wear this type of shoe if you are doing a tricep cable pressdown since the exercise / amount of resistance weight being used will barely affect the shoe’s movement and structure.

Whereas, if you’re performing a standing military barbell press, a better choice would be to wear cross trainers or minimalist shoes. They are usually designed to be more firm than running shoes. As a result, their structure would allow them to handle the extra weight being placed on them during the exercise movement.
